Thank-you for visiting my blog. As you can read from my home page, I have been counselling, pastoring and encouraging people for over twenty years and currently provide counselling in Kettering, Northants, at my own private practise. In addition, I am a counsellor at a GP’s surgery in Corby, counsel prisoners at H.M. Prison at Wellingborough, and work with troubled 16-25 year olds at a national charity in Kettering.

I have always been interested in helping people, and that is one of the reasons why I offer a free initial consultation to individuals and couples, adults and adolescents at my Kettering counselling rooms. However, I do enjoy writing, and exploring all aspects of counselling, and felt that having a blog would be an ideal outlet for my creative and counselling tendencies.  It will be a place where I can “think out loud” with ideas, or write factually about counselling experiences, developments, methods and techniques. And, because it is a blog, I can get feedback from visitors comments, and learn from and respond to that feedback. So please feel free to make any comments on anything I have written about counselling, or suggest any topics you would like me to see written about and discussed on this site. I look forward to this interactive aspect of this project.

This will be a long term project for me, so if you don’t see any articles about aspects of counselling that you are interested in on this visit, please come back again in the near future, as I’m determined to create a geat forum for counselling on these pages.
